Microphone Boosting Tutorial
There are 3 main ways of boosting your microphone

The Windows(OS) Way



  1. First scroll down to your task bar
  2. Find the audio tab
  3. Right click the tab
  4. Click sounds
  5. Switch tabs to recording
  6. Find the microphone that is actively moving when you talk into your mic
  7. Double click your microphone selection - a new window should open
  8. Go to levels
  9. Pull your Microphone Booster all the way up(it should now say +30dB)
  10. Apply & Ok


The Driver Installation(If you don't have the microphone booster option)


  1. http://www.via.com.tw/en/support/drivers.jsp
  2. Install top-most option
  3. Restart
  4. Open VIA HD Audio Deck
  5. Click "Expert Mode" in the bottom left corner
  6. Switch to Microphone Tab located at the top
  7. Bring Rec Vol, Microphone, Mic Boost options all the way up.
  8. Close program


The Raidcall Option


  1. Open RaidCall
  2. Join a group
  3. Find the Microphone Symbol
  4. Bring the Bar next to it all the way up
